Khalid Jones

Khalid is a Senior Recruiter at Google for the Global Data Center organization. In addition to implementing and executing against hiring strategies for the Americas, he serves as a mentor for engineering interns and project lead for several diversity, equity and inclusion programs at Google.

Prior to Google, Khalid was a successful Account Manager with one of the largest IT Staffing & Services firms. Some of his most notable accomplishments were developing a team of highly successful recruiters, winning multiple awards as one of the companies top Account Managers and serving as Co-Lead for the North East Multi-Cultural ERG chapter.

Khalid was a student-athlete and Electrical Engineer/Computer Science major for 3 years prior to pivoting career aspirations and finishing with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from The University of California - Davis. He has been a technology enthusiast from an early age and has remained actively involved with several science and robotics clubs up to this day. Khalid aspires to shrink the gap that exists in tech fields by creating awareness, access and opportunities for growth in underrepresented communities.
